Austin Grover Lamps on display during First Thursday in Austin Tx.
Last week is a blur now, and with it behind me I have a little time to catch up. My lamps were on display in the parking lot of Vespaio, where I had a booth set up. My Cousin Will was playing guitar to add a little atmosphere for the customers. In fact, a lot of people would stop and listen to him, some commenting on how well he plays.
I noticed that a lot of people were taking picture and instantly posting them on line. Later in the night I got a call from a dealer in California interested in my lamps after a friend sent him pictures from their phone earlier that day. It was a very successful event, and I had a great time.
