Today's bike ride had me cross paths with long time friend and uber talented photographer Jerry Burns. He took me on a rout through Emory I haven't been on before. I need to get a bike like his, it's nice. So first line of business when I move to Austin is to buy a new bike and retire my granny girl bike to the "guest bike" pile. We stopped in a great place and took some time to catch up, great guy.
After splitting with Jerry I pulled into Skate Escape and took these pictures. Skate Escape is a bicycle shop in Piedmont Park here in Atlanta, and is where I bought my first bicycle about 23 years ago. It is a great place with a friendly staff that willingly help with questions and repairs. My original intention was to hang out at the park and wait for a while and then go night riding with a group meeting at Skate Escape.
